We are Achala and Benedict, a dependable and caring couple with a genuine passion for animals. We understand the importance of leaving such valuable things as your home and pets in trustworthy hands, so we strive to treat them with the utmost respect and care. We are fortunate to be in a position where we can both work remotely in part-time roles, dedicating our lifestyle around full-time house sitting.

Achala
I managed an off-grid finca/retreat centre in a cork oak forest in Andalucia for 5 years, which solidified my passion for rural living. This gave me hands-on experience with tasks involved in land management, from dealing with fallen trees after storms to repairing perimeter boundaries damaged by wild boar! I now have a private therapy practice and work part time with clients remotely. I absolutely love cooking and food, making costumes and have a passion for trees.
Benedict
I am a part-time academic researcher who loves animals and rural adventures. I studied at Imperial College and recently completed a PhD in AI. House sitting started as a happy convenience but has evolved into a full-time vocation which complements my remote working lifestyle. I love to play chess, read, and walk in the countryside.
Pet care
Dogs and cats are our most common clientele, but we also have experience caring for many others, including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, fish, goats, alpacas, chickens, geese and ducks. We are experienced in caring for rescue/anxious animals with mild behavioural challenges and administering medication. We even looked after a very sweet elderly blind and deaf dog requiring complex medication.
House care
We both work part-time remotely with very flexible schedules, meaning we spend our time physically at your property keeping things in order. We can accommodate more demanding sits with more daily duties by adjusting our schedules.
Achala used to be a professional cleaner/housekeeper in chalets in the alps and residential properties in the UK. Benedict is very handy with maintenance jobs and mending things. Together, we are well prepared and experienced at maintaining the daily running and upkeep of a household.
